A DAD’S WORTH MORE THAN A PILLOW!!
I found myself lying on the floor on a Saturday watching a football game on television. Curtis, my twelve year old son, came in, flopped down on the floor, and laid his head on my chest. I was so excited that he felt comfortable enough to be that close. I thought of Jesus and the apostle John at the Last Supper. I thought of how special what was happening in our relationship was at the moment. Then I started scratching his head, and he simply laughed and said, “Over to the right, Dad. Now over to the left.”
With a chuckle I said, “What am I – your pillow?” With that Curtis lifted his head up, leaned on his elbow, looked at me straight in the eye, and said, “No, you’re my dad!”
I wouldn’t take all the money in the world for that moment.

…Simply doing the greatest thing a dad can ever do – Be there for his child!
It’s still the little things that truly count…a GREAT deal!
DO HAVE A BLISSFUL DADDY-HOOD!
